Our Beliefs
v That the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God, authoritative in all matters.
v In one Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
v That man is sinful and separated from God.
v In a literal devil who is in rebellion against God and who constantly works to deceive people and keep them bound in darkness.
v That Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead for the express purpose of forgiving man’s sin and setting us free from the kingdom of darkness.
v That man is saved by God’s grace, through trusting in God’s provision in Christ, apart from our own effort or good works.
v That God asks all who would receive Christ to turn from sin, trust him for their salvation, profess his lordship over their lives, and be buried with Christ in the water of baptism.
v That Jesus has been exalted as Lord over all. That the enemy has been defeated. And that the Kingdom of God will prevail against the gates of death.
v In the centrality of the work of the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, to carry on the victorious work of sanctification in the life of the believer, and to empower God’s people for ministry through bestowing the spiritual gifts. We believe the promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers today.
v In the imminent return of Christ.
v In the literal resurrection from the dead to face God’s judgment.
v In a literal heaven and a literal hell, where all will spend eternity following judgment.
